Get Cozy With These Fall Paint Colors
Designers and homeowners looking for new paint colors seek to be inspired by fall color trends in fashion and interiors. Our desires to incorporate brighter colors in summer make way for earthier hues in fall, taking a cue from nature as the northern hemisphere settles into autumn.
This fall, verdant greens continue to trend as bohemian spaces with leafy botanicals remain the definition of chic. Vibrant greens in summer are a reminder of the tropics, but deeper greens pop up in autumn. You’ll find the richness of Misty Emerald Lake, Luscious Moss and Deep Forest Pine follow this trend.

Orange is always a popular color in autumn (think falling leaves and pumpkins). It’s definitely one color that is back on the scene this fall—and one to incorporate in your home to warm it up or give it a masculine touch. Find the warmth of deep oranges in Maplewood Trail, Peking Orange and Clay Pot.

Cooler greys have been popular for years, those greys that are simply whitened versions of charcoal, but taupe is trending this year. We’re not ready to return to the popular browny beiges that dominated the late 1990s and 2000s. Taupe is a crossover between cool grey and warm beige. Look for it to appear more and more as designers opt for this warmer grey to create moody interiors.
