Bathroom Organization Ideas

Although it’s important for bathrooms to function properly, they’re much more pleasant when they’re beautiful. An easy way to do that is to use bathroom organization ideas that are both functional and attractive. So whether your storage is out in the open or hidden behind doors or drawers, these tips will keep your bathroom not only organized, but a great place to start your day.

I like to transfer things like cotton swabs and cotton balls to lidded glass jars, and I decant liquids like mouthwash into pretty glass bottles. I’d much rather see those containers on a regular basis than the ugly packaging that those everyday essentials came in. A small clock is helpful too, so you can be sure that you aren’t running late while getting ready!

To corral everything else, bins and baskets are essential. I dream of Pinterest-worthy storage baskets (you know the type—probably handwoven by unicorns and sprinkled with fairy dust), but let’s be honest. Plastic gets the job done too, and bonus: it’s easy to wipe down for a cleaning. Plus, I find that if you put a few pretty things at eye level, your attention will land there (and that’s enough to keep me from focusing on my less-than-favorite bins). A small ceramic bowl and a silver box were my grace notes in the setup you see below.

A few cute containers on the counter always make things a little more cheery, too! Who wouldn’t want to see some adorable cupcakes every morning?

These are just a few bathroom organization ideas, but I hope they get you thinking about what you can do to improve the storage in your space. It’s a small step towards starting each day off on the right foot, but I find that it’s an important one nonetheless!
