Pairing Colors with Cherry Wood

We are redoing our powder room which has no windows. We are installing a cherry wood cabinet with a matching mirror. What colors would go well with the cherry wood. We have tried looking at different colors (blue, green) but it seems like yellow and beige like colors are the only ones that may match well. Any ideas?

Hi Pat!
Cherry has red undertones, so you want to work with colors that complement, but you can go beyond yellows and beiges, and work with grays, blues, and greens. If you stick with a neutral, just avoid one with any red undertones since it could compete. I highly recommend Oyster Bay by Glidden for a bathroom with wood cabinetry - I recently used it in a bathroom remodel and it's the perfect shade of gray with the slightest hint of green!
